Links
The Elite community boasts many good websites; here are just a few of my favourites, including a couple of non-elite links.
General
- Alioth Network
- Home Of The Alliance and the Turner Space Combat Academy. The EBBS (Elite Bulletin Board System) and a wealth of other information.
- Frontier First Encounters Arts Page
- Great art work, lots of info, downloads, writings, and even some articles by George Hooper himself!
- GalNET
- Galactic Network of Explorers and Traders; the Alliance of Elite Veterans. Log on to the GalNET communications terminal and join up now.
- Mufossa's Elite Site
- Home of the Expanded Timeline and much fiction, including Pritchard On The Frontier. Matt Fossa is also a great musician and I recommend you check out some of his work.
- R3 Corporation
- Phil Raqoon's site has all the info you need about the Eta Cassiopeia [0,2] system, the home of the Federal Military and the FEU Ring. He also has a large list of links and many downloads.
- Sirocco Station
- One of my favourite looking Elite websites I've seen on the net! Wonderfully minimalistic in design and with quality content.
- The Elite Bar
- Order a Brown and chat with traders, bounty-hunters, assassins or even the corporate police in the safety of the Elite Bar...well, at least the roof and window seals are watertight.
- alt.fan.elite Newsgroup
- A Usenet discussion group with Elite, FE2 and FFE related topics.
- Frontier Developments
- David Braben wrote both FE2 and FFE as well as co-writing the original Elite. This is his company and they are currently working on various projects including the next chapter in the Elite series, Elite IV.
- The Elite Club
- A website set up by Frontier Developments where you can download the shareware release of FE2 and FFE for various computer platforms, includes game patches.
- The Unofficial Elite Club
- As the official Elite Club but with much more information.

Elite
- Ian Bell's Elite pages
- Mr Bell's website (one of the original creators of Elite.) Here you can find all Elite versions, some source codes and the Elite Manual.
- The Acorn Elite Pages
- ArcElite is considered by many to be the greatest version of Elite ever!

Frontier
- Frontierverse
- For Frontier: Elite 2 this is the place to go! In Robin Sharrock's own words, "We have a huge resource of information, pictures, music, hints and files all dedicated to Frontier. Our aim is to provide you with everything you will ever need." ~ it does exactly what it says on the tin.

Frontier: First Encounters
- Jades' First Encounters Site
- Graham 'Jades' Thurlwell's excellent site with very useful information and many downloads. Possibly the most comprehensive FFE site around.
- JJFFE Central
- John Jordan has an update for FFE. It plays under Windows and has many FFE specific bug fixes. A must download for anyone wanting to play FFE on a modern PC.
- Life On The Frontier
- A really well designed site with a wealth of FFE info which includes some nicely done Guides.

Non-Elite Links
- mike cook :: musician
- Well, I made the dream-ware site so I guess I'm allowed a shameless plug of my personal sites. This is an online music resume, the content may be a little thin but the main info is all there.
- mike cook photography
- I am also a budding photographer and now have my own online photo gallery.
- Seti@home
- Frankly there's enough problems with the Thargoids but it seems the search for extraterrestrial life will always continue so why not join the Seti@home project.
- Project Gutenberg News
- At the end of 2006 I became the editor of the Project Gutenberg Newsletter. At the same time I created the PG-News website as a companion to the newsletter. Project Gutenberg is an excellent project that is converting out of copyright books to electronic format (eBooks) and giving them away for free.
